MEMORANDUM OF CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION BEFORE THE AFBCMR
SUBJECT:
Having carefully reviewed this application, we agree with the recommendation of the Air
Force office of primary responsibility and adopt the rationale expressed as the basis for our
decision that the applicant has been the victim of either an error or an injustice. Therefore, we
recommend the applicant's records be corrected to show that:
The pertinent military records relating to APPLICANT, be corrected to show that the
DD Form 214, Armed Forces of the United States Report of Transfer or Discharge, issued in
conjunction with his 11 April 1971 discharge, be and hereby, is amended in Block 24,
Decorations, Medals, Badges, Commendations, Citations and Campaign Ribbons Awarded or
Authorized, to reflect the Air Force Commendation Medal.
